Hot Bananas with Cinnamon Coconut Sauce (Pisang dengan Saus Kayu Manis)


Resep ini saya dapat dari buku resep Step by Step Indonesia Cooking.
Untuk bahan nya adalah sbb:
  • 4 large bananas
  • Cinnamon coconut Sauce
Untuk membuat Cinnamon Sauce:
  • 1 tbs plain flor (tepung terigu)
  • 2 tbs sugar (gula)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (bubuk kayu manis)
  • 1 1/3 cups coconut milk (santan)
Cara membuat:
  1. Remove ends from bananas, place bananas into covered steamer over a pan of boiling water, cook for 5 minutes
  2. Use tongs and knife to peel off bananas skin.
  3. To make Cinnamon Coconut Sauce : Add flour , sugar and cinnamon to a pan and stir until well combined. Add coconut milk and blend until smooth. Stir constantly over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens. Simmer for 2 minutes. Serve Cinnamon Coconut Sauce with hot bananas.
Note: Bananas skins will turn black during cooking but the bananas will be golden inside.
