Keripik Kentang (Potato Crackers)




Kering kentang ini lebih nikmat bila disajikan bersama dengan nasi gurih seperti nasi uduk dan nasi kuning. Saya lebih menyukai rasa manis sehingga gula merah saya beri lebih banyak.

Potato crackers or may be , we can call chip though not as crispy as potato chip. The taste is sweet and a little bit spicy.


Bahan:
  • 500 gr kentang (iris tipis, goreng kering kecoklatan)
  • 3 bh cabe merah (iris tipis, goreng kering)
  • 1 sdm bawang merah goreng
  • 1/2 sdt garam
  • 2 sdm gula merah
  • 1/2 sdt cuka
  • 1 lbr daun salam
  • 3 sdm air
Bumbu dihaluskan:
  • 6 siung bawang putih
  • 2 sdm lengkuas cincang




Ingredients:
  • 500 gr potato (slice thinly and fry until golden brown)
  • 3 pcs red chili (thinly sliced and fry also)
  • 1 tbs fried shallot
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbs brown sugar (palm sugar)
  • 1/2 tsp vinegar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 tbs water
Another ingredients: (ground to make paste)
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbs minced galangal
Cara membuat:
  1. Tumis bumbu halus dan daun salam dengan 5 sdm minyak goreng sampai matang
  2. Masukkan garam, gula merah, air dan cuka. Didihkan
  3. Setelah air menguap masukkan kentang goreng, cabai dan bawang goreng. Aduk rata, angkat, dinginkan, simpan di wadah kedap udara.
Directions:
  1. Saute the paste ingredients and bay leaf with 5 tbs of oil until fragrant.
  2. Add salt, brown sugar, water and vinegar. Let it boil.
  3. After the water evaporates, add in fried potato, fried chili and fried shallot. Combine well, put aside and leave it to cool. Then put in the air tight container.
